things have been good. really good. thank you all for the sweet thoughts, prayers and well wishes during and after the beans surgery last week. the bean is doing remarkably well in her recovery, which makes me so happy. so again, things have been capital G capital O capital O capital D around here. of course, i managed to get quite sick during it all which required a trip to the doctors on friday and a heavy dose of drugs which has miraculously pulled me out of my coughing fits and piles of tissues over the weekend.
i've been doing my best over the last two days to get some of the pent-up creative spark that has been bundled up inside out and onto some new paper. however, i am going to wait to show my new lo's for the SIStv launch on may 15th so i have some new pages for our gallery.
i did however, want to share the digital lo i created this evening [see above]. i came across olive juice & co the other day { check out her aprons : divine! } and was absolutely floored by the digi buttons on her journal, they are so fresh. so, i downloaded some jen wilson kits this evening and thought i'd give digi a try. and i am *so* happy that i did. i consider myself to be pretty photoshop savvy [thanks to my website biz] and it was no where near as difficult or technical as i had thought. such fun. and the kits and elements that are available are amazing.
oh, and have i told you about my SISters yet? we have been getting to know one another real well {as of late} and i just have to say that i am so grateful to be able to learn and create alongside all of these talented women. they amaze me, everyday with their wit and charm and general sassy-ness.
I'm so glad to hear that the surgery went well!
Too bad about getting sick though.
That SiS site looks great. I wish my own website looked that great.
