even if i can't fit into most of their clothing {they would make a mint making larger sizes... } the fact that they love and appreciate a vintage icon like vera neumann as much as i do makes my heart beat 50 {gazillion} times a second with happy-ness. i adore vera.
adore!
back when i sold vintage clothing online {at k8tykat : before having the littles} vera was one of the items that always sold immediately, along with the vintage bonnie cashin for coach bags i still collect and covet. i would find pieces of her work at the thrift store and they always, always came home with me if they were in good condition. seriously, how could i leave them behind, do you see her work?
these have to be two of my most favorite possessions, extra large melamine serving trays. the geisha one is actually little pieced girls, and actually this would be such a great idea for a layout, don't you think?
i have to admit that the anthro pieces are wonderful, like the tumblers and that fun watermelon skirt , oh oh oh! and that stunning coverlet... *swoon*. but my heart will always remain loyal to the originals as i save them from the thrift store one by one.
happy wednesday!
