how grateful i am for the support!!
we got home late saturday. my life, maddie's life, our family life as a whole was forever changed by this last week. we met families who's children are fighting for their lives and had the most amazing care by the most amazing doctors and nurses. i have so much to say and share about our experience but we are still helping the bean heal and slowly catching up on so much lost sleep.
thank you SO much for all of your prayers & hugs & well wishes. i felt every ounce of it last thursday and have every intention of replying to each one of you personally, but right now i just want to be with my family and process it all.
happy wonderful fantastic tuesday!!!
xoxo

Hi there...my name is Tammy and I have followed your blog off and on for the past year or so. I just got on here and read about your daughter having VUR. My daughter also had that. She was first diagnosed with kidney infection at the age of 3 and had them on and off until diagnosed at the age of 7 with VUR. We elected to have her get the surgery instead of seeing if she would "grow out of it", which some children do. She is now 14 and has shown no signs of it. She was on antibiotics for 6 months after as a precautionary measure. I am not sure how old your daughter is or for how long she has had this condition but would love to converse more about it if you like. Please feel free to email me. Sending love and prayers to your family and quick healing to your little girl. xo
