one of the things that i adore about hambly is that allison has truly become such a kindred spirit. over the last two years, as our friendship has grown i have been extremely lucky to be pulled into her creative process and share my thoughts and desires over products i'd love to see hambly create as well as talk about colors and see early previews. i always go crazy when i get to see the early proofs before they're printed. oh geez... i turn all giddy actually. thank goodness als knows me well enough by now to deal with my spazzing gushes of "holy batman als { insert random freakishly crazy comments here } i LOVE it!!!". lol.
so those of you who are familiar with my creative drive and love for everything old will not be shocked to hear that i just about keeled over when i finally saw the final proofs of the summer cha releases. i was thrilled. lace. mannequins. doilies. stitching.oh. my!!
but i have to tell you that when i finally got the lace paper in my hands it truly was all i could do to not sleep with the paper. i could marry it, it makes me so creatively happy. so it's no wonder that the two show samples i managed to create for the booth were with the lace paper. i added a few extra items but really it was all i could think about, all i wanted to create with, so create i did.
so tell me, what is your favorite release? it doesn't have to be hambly, although i'd love to hear what you love of theirs as well, i am biased a bit... lol.
happy happy!!
xo
Hambly is always great, but I really liked those sweet kraft scalloped envelopes from Maya Road, and there was great paper from 7gypsies!

Just about died of happiness when I saw those Hambly lace papers/transparencies too - although I don't know how I'm going to get my hands on them because the international shipping direct from Hambly costs a FORTUNE and my favourite online stores don't stock Hambly anymore :( Loved the paper tapes from 7G and loved some of the Monstrosity line from Sass Lass (just perfect for scrapping my toddler!). Can't wait to see what you picked up for the kits for the next few months :)

That Hambly has been my fave of the new releases and some of the new Halloween stuff I have been seeing (I think Fancy Pants did an awesome line). I love Halloween so much! I sooo hope you will do something fun for the October kit. (wink wink)
We have a costume party every year and I make a full blown out album on just that one night...that is how much I love halloween! lol
