This was one of those months when creating came easy. I adored the warm tones in the feb main kit that were paired with the bright splashes of gold & pink. And the main kit was completely built around accommodating that beautiful k& company handmade ephemera pack.
The layout above was completely inspired by this pic i had saved in my tumblr. Gi put up a great post today on the kR blog sharing how she uses tumblr for inspiration {it's a great post} and how it can really help you get the creative juices flowing. When i saw rubyellen's sewn notebook love letters i knew i wanted to recreate the sewn notebook pages on a layout and my pack of bling from the main kit was dying to be used for a banner.
and well. who doesn't love a lo about love?

I've had this idea in my head for months and knew when i ordered the ephemera pack {are you noticing a love realtionship with that pack of ephemera?} that it would be perfect for creating a monogram Y.
I just layered the different elements on some cardstock and then added a scalloped border created with 1" circle i punched then cut in half.

Then i started playing with scraps and the new kR Honeychurch digital kit {i printed one of the papers onto cardstock, the ledger paper you see over the pink}.

then i randomly added embellishments to go with those sweet pics i took of some items i fell in love with at timeless treasures in sf. I adore that store so much and am always taking a million pics in there.

and this was another page created with an old picture of my bama {grandmother} when she was young and all of the other remaining scraps.
the brown cardstock is the negatives from punching all of those circles for the monogram border and the other pieces were left overs as well.
happy monday!
