vi scrapper

so a few months ago vibeke contacted me and asked if i was interested in doing an interview for the amazing norwegian scrap magazine vi scrapper. of course i said yes, after i closed my mouth from the shock. and although i know the answers i answered i can't read the article, but i hear from mari that a translation is coming... right??!? ;D

i sent in about 10 layouts and they used all of my favorites, including two that i created for october afternoon for winter cha. see... there's becky & becca & gi & me hanging out in omaha on silver bella weekend.

and my two littles. maddies layout "i would" was created for my mmm submission last year. it still hurts a little knowing i don't have that layout, but at least it's here, and that makes me happy.

and my favorite cup of coffe, a soy flat latte.

october afternoon & i'm out ....

i'm on my way out the door but i wanted to show you all the new lines from october afternoon, aren't they yummy? they make me think of vintage quilts and thrift stores and i so loved creating with them. this first one is completely inspired by becky {well a couple are actually...} and i adore it. my fav lo to date!

here's to me getting it done today. because i have a stack of october afternoon goodies that i am dying to start on and i hate feeling like i am behind, which is exactly how i feel today.

a lovely {october} afternoon

finally! my october afternoon dt box arrived today and it is lovely. all of it. i remember when michelle told wilna and i while we were walking around at summer cha that we HAD to go see this new company that was debuting because she had heard that their line was amazing. i remember standing in front of their booth and feeling like i had finally found another manufacturer that i could love completely {i know i don't have to explain my adoration for hambly!}. and now, i feel so grateful to be on this design team. because the papers and rubons and stamps are just as stunning as i remembered. so tonight. tonight i have a date with this pile, some pics from cha {because that is just fitting, isn't it??!?} and maybe the last of my norwegian chocolate. oh and some champagne. because receiving a box full of this requires at least one mimosa, you know!!?!

i think that brown paper in the lower right is my fav.

and i LOVE that they have brown rubons!! love. love. love!!
