things i'm doing today

1. back in may i was asked by fiskateer cheryl to guest design something for the fiskateers blog. and today my vintage mini book is up to view here. eeks!

2. i am amazed and SO grateful for those of you who purchased subscriptions yesterday. and amazed that they sold out so quickly!! i know it's a leap of faith to purchase something without really seeing the first kit, so thank you for knowing that it will be incredible, because well... it is!

3. i'm eagerly awaiting this kit where i'm guest designing for august/septemeber. i cannot wait to get my hands on michelle's new paper. and did you see all that heather bailey in it? yay!

4. completely and totally inspired by this post by my inspiring friend debee. seriously. the best words i've read in quite a while. i think i've read them 5 times now... and i need to read it some more.

5. eagerly anticipating a parents night out with my brother in law and sister in law who are in town from chicago. our niece ellie is the cutest thing. it will be nice to sit and talk over a very long dinner, audult conversation really is the best.

6. i've been scrapping. all day. and i put two new layouts up at flickr last night. dwell, all digital with elements and papers designed by me that will be released with the kenner road site launch on sept 15th and crushing me {{ out for pub on this one - yay!}}.

scrapmojo & an october afternoon rak

i was honored to be able to work with my sweet friend marie and the other mojo girls over a scrap mojo this week. the prompt is to ask someone what they would do with a million dollars and then scrap it. this is my sweet bean. all big smiles. she LOVES ponies. real ponies. dream ponies. plush ponies & my little ponies. reminds me so much of myself when i was little. apparently in maddie-ville it's a one dollar for one pony ratio. oh to be that innocent again. :)

and in other news ..... i have this to give away :

a huge press pack filled with lots of the new october afternoon lines that were just released at cha. kim & jon were very gracious to let me take a press pack for one of you lucky oa lovers. there is paper from four different lines, including the new "weather vane" {my fav!} and "good cheer" xmas lines. plus two sheets of the new stickers.

and i'm also throwing in that adorable little monster charm pin you see above that they gave away to everyone who came by the booth. isn't he cute!

october afternoon : hometown

i just got a big box of this delicious goodness delivered to me this morning to create cha samples with, it's the new summer october afternoon release, hometown. seriously, kim creates the most amazing designs. my favorites? depot park {yellow polka dots}, norm's news {black houndstooth on one side / newsprint on the other}. and i adore the die cut shapes and journaling cards.

ok sweets .... don't be jealous but i'm off to scrap. :)

vi scrapper

so a few months ago vibeke contacted me and asked if i was interested in doing an interview for the amazing norwegian scrap magazine vi scrapper. of course i said yes, after i closed my mouth from the shock. and although i know the answers i answered i can't read the article, but i hear from mari that a translation is coming... right??!? ;D

i sent in about 10 layouts and they used all of my favorites, including two that i created for october afternoon for winter cha. see... there's becky & becca & gi & me hanging out in omaha on silver bella weekend.

and my two littles. maddies layout "i would" was created for my mmm submission last year. it still hurts a little knowing i don't have that layout, but at least it's here, and that makes me happy.

and my favorite cup of coffe, a soy flat latte.
