vi scrapper

Kerry_s1

so a few months ago vibeke contacted me and asked if i was interested in doing an interview for the amazing norwegian scrap magazine vi scrapper. of course i said yes, after i closed my mouth from the shock. and although i know the answers i answered i can't read the article, but i hear from mari that a translation is coming... right??!? ;D

Kerry_s2

i sent in about 10 layouts and they used all of my favorites, including two that i created for october afternoon for winter cha. see... there's becky & becca & gi & me hanging out in omaha on silver bella weekend.

Kerry_s3

and my two littles. maddies layout "i would" was created for my mmm submission last year. it still hurts a little knowing i don't have that layout, but at least it's here, and that makes me happy.

and my favorite cup of coffe, a soy flat latte.

thanks vibeke. it was a pleasure doing this!

*sigh*

i love norway.

*poof*

Herlegacy

i feel like i have so much to say sometimes, but i think about it too much. think about it over and over and over until i beat it dead in my brain and then it never shows up here. and i always think, when i'm thinking these thinks, that its something i need to share. but then it's gone. poof.

so today. today i'm gonna leave you with this lo {my sweet bama and my maddie bean, at 10 months} and then a freebie. cause if your thoughts go poof what better way to cover it up than with a freebie element your sweet readers can download and then use on their pages & projects. right?? right!

Honeychurch_markettags

see those three tags there in that lo and in that pic posted above? i made them especially for you sweet blog readers, my friends, my encourage-rs of all things. as a little thank you of sorts. for the encouragement. for the special words you say to me. for your friendship. just click on the tag picture to download the pdf. it will open in a separate page. then just save to your computer, print, cut, use.

just a little token of my love for you. all of you. and, btw. they go fantastically well with my honeychurch digi collection. just saying. ;D

also... the winner of the pemberley paper pack is :

Love these papers ;-)

{digital} happiness is ...

Anealsistvpreview

... the february guest designer at SIStv, amazing miss audrey neal, which makes me SO happy, did you see that kit she designed for us... yum-ola!. i've been dabbling in the digital department for a while now, creating layouts and designing kits for sistv, which has really made me happy. playing with ps and paper and elements is my other love, and it's nice to see that the digital SISters have some love and inspiration being focused on them because they are amazing; i mean come on... have you seen this, or this or this?? can you believe it's all digi??

650_barnstorm_kly4sistv

in other news this is my newest digi kit barnstorm. i love it. love, love, love it. there is nothing that makes me happier than some wallpaper and vintage elements mixed together. well... except maybe a dirty gimlet {my new favorite drink}. just take some limeade and vodka, pour over ice and stir. sweet yum!

and in the sickie children department i'm happy to tell you they are all good. it's really amazing how fast they recover... if you didn't know it you'd never think that ben was in the hospital this day last week. but all's good which makes me happy because cha is this weekend and i get to see my girls becky, gigi, jj, michelle, claudine, allison and sarah. i get to finally meet everyone at october afternoon in real life. i get to see may lis and give her a giant hug.

oh... and i get to see everything else that's coming out in the scrap world. yay!!

happy monday!

what inspires me : part two

Jrclocks

i've got a lot to do today, which only explains why i've spent the better part of the last hour going through my blog roll and chatting away over at SIStv, right? however, i am going to get my butt in gear right now, so i decided that i would leave you with a little bit of print and texture inspiration {something i think i'm going to do everyday until the new year}.

so today, meet julia rotham, i adore her prints and illustrations, especially the clock print above. but also make sure you check out her book by it's cover site, where she shares some amazing illustrated books she has collected!
