happy nsd!!!

there is some seriously good stuff going on everywhere in our scrapbook community this weekend {hambly | kenner road} and i am excited. tomorrow i'm heading out for an all day crop but today i have a hambly nsd giveaway, as does which is part of our dt blog hop. the entire hambly dt is giving away $15 gift certificates to 10 lucky winners {1 per person} so make sure you enter at everyones blog, including hambly's, for more chances to win . 

in celebration i created a mothers day card at scrapblog with NEW! hambly elements that just went live on friday. how wonderful is it that you can create hambly projects {like my card} and then scrapblog can print them out and send them to you. so makes my life easier!! now if only there was a scent filter on my computer to waft vanilla into my home...

best wishes

that little envelope above {with a little gift card tucked inside} was created for a sweet friend's birthday and i thought it was extra fitting to share it with you today because i can feel all of your best wishes as i open kenner road. yesterday was good. yesterday was fabulous. yesterday was amazing. this industry is so much more than the negativity that we sometimes think and say and hear it is. it is a strong community. it is a supportive community. it is an open and loving community. it is an important friendship to me because it is you and me and craft and inspiration.

so thank you. thank you SO much for all of the support. for believing with me in kenner road and the future. for your purchases. for your subscriptions. for your emails & for your friendship. for your inspiration & encouragement. i feel it all today and my heart is full.

i have been reading everyones stories and enjoying learning about where you have lived. i plan on spending some extra time today going and commenting and i hope that maybe these thoughts have inspired you to record those memories on page or in a project, i know it has inspired me.

it's perfect

i just finished working on tomorrow's catalyst in this book, my collage book, and i am adoring how thick and layered it is looking. it's where i do most of the catalyst's for creative therapy and where i experiment and get out all of the thoughts that sometimes crowd my head. it's become a cherished possession.

it's a lazy saturday. it's perfect. as soon as i finish posting this i'm going outside with the bean to read some more of the host and get some more vitamin d into my skin. life is good.

i also wanted to tell tracy ....

wow - what an amazing package of goodies - looks so fun. sounds like you had a wonderful time in chicago and a wonderful time since coming home. Yea!!!

scrapmojo & an october afternoon rak

i was honored to be able to work with my sweet friend marie and the other mojo girls over a scrap mojo this week. the prompt is to ask someone what they would do with a million dollars and then scrap it. this is my sweet bean. all big smiles. she LOVES ponies. real ponies. dream ponies. plush ponies & my little ponies. reminds me so much of myself when i was little. apparently in maddie-ville it's a one dollar for one pony ratio. oh to be that innocent again. :)

and in other news ..... i have this to give away :

a huge press pack filled with lots of the new october afternoon lines that were just released at cha. kim & jon were very gracious to let me take a press pack for one of you lucky oa lovers. there is paper from four different lines, including the new "weather vane" {my fav!} and "good cheer" xmas lines. plus two sheets of the new stickers.

and i'm also throwing in that adorable little monster charm pin you see above that they gave away to everyone who came by the booth. isn't he cute!
