My friend Shimelle has been sharing her amazing class Journal your Christmas since 2004 and i'm honored to be able to give away a pass to one of YOU to join the fun and document your Christmas. I've been doing JYC since i purchased the class in 2007 and it's one of my favorite traditions of the Christmas season.
JYC is one of my most favorite classes of the year {I've already created my journal as you can see above} and if you've ever taken another of Shimelle's online classes you know how incredible they are, she puts her heart and soul into each and everyone. details. she gets the details ;)
So... leave a comment below telling me what your most favorite gift you've ever given is and i'll pick a winner monday evening, November 29th at 11pm pst. This way I can get your info and get it to Shimelle before class begins on Dec 1st.
Happy Holidays!!
xo
a little more information about JYC from shimelle :
Every year, Journal your Christmas includes daily prompts from the 1st of December to the 6th of January, the twelfth day of Christmas. The 37 illustrated PDF files are delivered straight to your inbox so you can read them over your first cup of coffee and mull over each topic for a full day. There’s also an archive of the class materials online in case you can’t get to your email or in case something dreadful happens to your computer. And like every year, you can go it alone or be as social as you like, with a private discussion forum where you’ll find other Christmas journallers who will cheer you on and share your excitement, but if you prefer to stick to the prompts only, that’s completely fine too. And like every year, if you’re participated once, you can join us every Christmas for as long as you like at no extra cost.
just saying hi & cheers & i miss you & if it weren't "the season" i'd shanghai up for a crafternoon. xxoo

My favourite Santa gift for my son was a
flip camera that he says must have come
from Santa because he got it before he
ever saw one in a store, and he loves
taking movies!
What an awesome class, I would love to
participate!!!

I have to admit... my favorite Christmas gift of all time has been my son. Granted, he came 7 days before Christmas, but I have never loved anyone more. (and the fact that he GOT OUT OF MY BELLY was a huge relief! That kid was HUGE!).
Shimelle rocks. Gotta love that gal!

Gaaaah . . . I hope I'm home long enough to get organized enough to relax when Christmas comes. :) But my favorite gift every year is family time, and this year that means a trip to Boston to watch my granddaughter dance in the Nutcracker with the Boston Ballet. How fun to record that and more in Shimelle's journal!

One year for Christmas I gave my mother a ring that I designed, with small jewels representing my sisters and I. It was very special, and she loved it.

Picking my favorite gift is tough...the most recent was giving my grandaughters the tradition of an Advent Calendar. I just finished the 2nd one for my youngest granddaughter that is 2yrs old. I always did it for her Dad and wanted her to enjoy that daily joy of the excitement leading up to Christmas day....It was fun finding little items just for her for all 25 days. Seeing their smiles is their best gift they give me.
Love your journal and it inspires me to do my own...your Okie FRiend...Teresa

I would love to win! I think the best gift I gave someone was a baby blanket that I crocheted for my cousin's baby last year. I learned how to crochet last summer and this was my first 'big' project ever. It took me forever... but it felt SO good when it was finished and I loved giving it away.

best gift given was a lap top for my son---his face was priceless!!!

I suppose the best Christmas gift I ever gave away was a set of garden/balcony chairs my isters and I gave to my parents last year. It was a combined bjrthday and x-mas gift that they got at the beginning of last summer that they thoroughly enjoyed. Other than that I think a yearly scrapbook of holiday pictures to one of my good friends is an other favourite gift.

Best gift I've ever given was a snowboarding season pass to my husband and I; super surprise because I complain about the prices every time we go. This was a win-win for both of us all season long!
Happy Holidays!

ooh, would love to win! best present ever? a violin for my husband, who had always wanted to learn but never had the opportunity to have lessons or touch one as a child. he was very, very, happy when be opened it and now, after many, many, hours of lessons and much practice, he can play all those songs he always wanted to play. makes my heart fair sing whenever i hear him practicing. other favourite gifts? all the 'cajas de amor' we send out each year. just knowing what a difference they'll make to someone's christmas day, and in someone's life, just makes me happy.

my favorite gift I've ever given I am giving this year. I got my Mom a Coach purse! I saved a long time for it and I really hope she likes it. She never does anything nice for herself. I wanted to do something extravagant.

Oh I would love to participate in this class! Thank you KL and Shimelle for the chance to win! I best gift I have ever given was a scrapbook of my sons first year that I gave to my dad. He lives far away but has such a special, powerful bond with my son. It really meant alot to him, I am glad I took the time to make it.
